Hong Kong's Goods of Desire is showing the Blackberry Playbook a little love with the Literati Roll case. The case is an inventive tablet cover that was inspired by the bamboo books of Ancient China.
The Literati Roll Case seen here is made out of actual bamboo, although production versions will be made using plastic. The case is segmented into strips and can be rolled up to act as a stand if needed. Designers are consistently looking to the past as a source of inspiration. The Literati Roll Case is about as retro as they come, and is a great example of a timeless design updated for the 21st century. The case was designed specifically for the Playbook (sorry iPad and Galaxy fans) and will come in black or white.
