Danish designer Mogens Lassen first created the Jäger Lounge Table back in 1941 when he was commissioned by a merchant named Jäger to create a coffee table design. Now design studio MENU has spent the past 2 years creating this folded furniture with this as the inspiration.
Ensuring that it meets modern design languages as well, the new Jäger Lounge Table is made with a solid wood frame held together by seamless joints. It has a warp-free veneer tabletop and brass fittings to ensure that it is durable and has longevity. Every oiled oak or oiled walnut design is complete with a brass plaque detailed with engravings that read its own serial number to give a unique touch.
