While it may not be able to travel in time, the jet-engine powered Datsun 280ZX is certainly a force to be reckoned with.
The 1983 model of the car, made famous by its appearance in Back To The Future, has been revamped by Seth Kettleman. Complete with an engine previously found in the body of a former US Air Force jet, the vehicle is capable of running on jet fuel.
Using the plane's turboshaft, which harnesses exhaust energy to spin its rotating blade, the engine won't give the car any lift -- but anyone around to hear it turn on will certainly think it is gearing up for takeoff. Even the paint job is a nod to high-flying vehicles with its black matte body and custom headlight covers modeled after the SR-71 Blackbird jet.
