2007 is a year of emerging professions and more and more people are recognizing the benefits of getting in on the ground floor of an up-and-coming venture. Our digital world is growing and expanding and technology touches our lives in almost every way. This has created a growing demand for people ‘in the know’.
So too, homeland security issues, stem-cell research and robotics are just a handful of areas that need trained personnel. People are realizing that these emerging professions offer great opportunities and advancement.
Many companies, looking to cut costs and to enhance work-life balance are offering telework arrangements to their employees. This allows for a more flexible work schedule and will likely enhance productivity and efficiency over the long-term.
