$250,000 For Innovative Applications - Facebook Contest (VIDEO)

Addicted to Facebook? How would you like to earn some money while networking with your online community? Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg created fbFund to offer one lucky person $250,000.
He is offering the reward to the software developer that can create the most “innovative and disruptive programs” for Facebook. Over 4,000 applications already exist (including Trend Hunter’s!) and Zuckerberg realizes the impact they have on the community. “We’re doing this at Facebook to support the ecosystem and help it grow,” he said.
Anyone can submit an application which will be reviewed by a panel including Zuckerberg, “If we think the project is good we will give a grant for somewhere between $25,000 to $250,000.”
Any firm that wins money will not have to give up equity to the fund. Instead, it asks that they are given first chance to invest in any successful company that sprouts as a result of the grant scheme.
"This is a grant to help these companies get off the ground," said Mr Zuckerberg.
