Controversial designer James Piatt has given us some of the most intriguing handbag creations ever. The Peace Keeper bag was his first—the chic purse with the brass knuckles for a handle. Even more groundbreaking was his rifle satchel cleverly called Pursuader.

These images are from Piatt’s portfolio and gallery of promotional shots. The photography was all by Ted Walton and is truly magnificent. The photos really bring the notorious handbags to life.
