It isn't often that I come across a photoset that fills me with such feelings of nostalgia and wonder quite like the Dara Scully 'Little Dreamers' series. The 22-year-old Swedish photographer captures images of young imagination at work, showing the budding friendship between a girl and various wild creatures, like the plot of any classic bedtime storybook.

Decked out with a gold paper crown a la 'Where The Wild Things Are,' the girl in the photos makes friends with a baby elephant, a small brown bear, a wolf and a baby polar bear, going on adventures with them and even sitting down for tea. The newborn animals are absolutely adorable and make the perfect partners for this make-believe shoot.

Playing on themes from different fairy tales like Little Red Riding Hood, the Dara Scully 'Little Dreamers' series speaks to the playful part inside everyone, and definitely makes me feel young (or younger) again. Stats for Magical Make-Believe Photography Trending: Older & Popular
