These images are from past German Christmas tree design exhibitions held at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design. The idea is that anything goes. Anyone can participate and create their own interpretation of a Christmas tree in any material they can think of. The next show is coming up on the 21st of December.

I love the idea of this design competition. It is not supposed to be fine art reserved for the initiated few, it is just really good fun for the whole family. From chocolate to candle trees, waste or junk to TV trees, anything goes!
