Detachable Guard Sneaker Designs

Mountain Research and Reebok Join Forces on the Club C Mid II

Mountain Research works in collaboration with sportswear imprint Reebok on a new iteration of the iconic Club C Mid II sneaker model for the season. The duo creates the sneaker with leather material as the base foundation and minimal design language.

It is then detailed with bright Cobalt Blue as the accenting details that can be found by the logo on the upper eyelets, the rubber outsole unit, and the sock lining. The most notable part of the sneaker is the two lace guards that can be switched around or detached depending on the preference of the wearer. One of the covers has perforated holes and the second guard is detailed with "HOLIDAYS IN THE MOUNTAIN."
