SolarSailor, a company from Australia, signed a deal with China’s largest shipping line to outfit their fleet with jumbo-sized solar sails. Transportation cost is one of the major profit killers, especially with a slowed economy. Why not install these massive solar sails to help cut down on expenses of your mighty cargo fleet? I have no doubt that many companies, yacht owners and any other seafaring individuals will have no problem adopting the synergy of this green technology for their vessels.  The aluminium sails, 30 metres long and covered with photovolatic panels, harness the wind to cut fuel costs by between 20 and 40 per cent, and use the sun to meet five per cent of a ship's energy needs.
