Luscious Lime Green Looks

Beat the Winter Blues with the Carolina Herrera Spring 2012 Collection

Spring is all about freshness, and the Carolina Herrera Spring 2012 collection provides that in two ways: by presenting colors in bright greens and yellows that are reminiscent of an organic vegetable garden and by using prints that are cheerful and unexpected, like covering an entire dress in a bird print and then suddenly switching to geometric patterns.

Canary yellow and lime green hues ruled the runway at the Carolina Herrera Spring 2012 show. Evening wear was also dominated by the two spring shades and although a full-length evening gown in bright green may not be the most practical investment, it is certainly lovely to look at and undeniably brings a smile to anyone's face.

If the Carolina Herrera Spring 2012 collection is any indicator (and it often is, particularly in terms of evening wear trends), then expect to see lots of bright, cheerful colors in stores this upcoming spring season.

For people like me, that just means I'll add a green or yellow bracelet to my 'all black everything' ensembles. It's all about the baby steps.
