Carlsberg Sweden and Einride have partnered on a new limited-edition alcohol-free beer that puts a variety of sustainability elements in the spotlight to prioritize an eco-friendly profile. The beer is made with 100% renewable energy and is transported and packed on an autonomous electric conveyor belt system alongside forklifts and robots. The beer comes in a sleek can that's emblazoned with a QR code to provide drinkers with insights into how it's brewed as well as its journey through Sweden before making it to their fridge.
MD at Carlsberg Sverige Peter Hammarstedt spoke on the Carlsberg Sweden and Einride partnership saying, "We are pleased with our partnership with Einride and the progress we are making together in sustainable logistics. At Carlsberg Sverige, we continuously work to take concrete steps toward a more sustainable operation, and increasing the use of electric vehicles in our transport chain is one example of this. We hope this will spark interest in the importance of sustainable and smart logistics – and inspire others to take action in their own industries."
