This is the ‘Drops’ chair by Camilla Hounsell Halvorsen, a design in Inhabitat’s Spring Greening Design Competition. The chair is comprised of an inner tube that’s been wrapped in recycled upholstery.

The inner tube naturally conforms to the user’s shape, and the ‘Drops’ chair can even be removed from its legs to make a floor cushion.
