Rob Matthews Prints 2,559 'Featured Articles' on 5,000 Pages Published: Jun 7, 09 Comments: 1 Views: 17,313 It would be impossible to put every Wikipedia article into a single book but what Rob Matthews has done is put 2,559 ‘featured articles’ off Wikipedia. That’s a lot of paper to make a statement. After pressing ‘ctrl+ p’, 5,000 pages spat out of the printer, resulting in a bookified Wikipedia. This hefty book carries a hefty message—the Internet has made information that much more accessible, searchable and useful to the general public. Apparently, however, print media is a useful tool in conveying the fact that it is dying a slow death in the face of the Internet age. References: rob-matthews, spreadingjamFiled In: |
