Reskinning Nature

Bobby Neel Adams Turns Trees Into Transformers

Bobby Neel Adams’ ‘Re-Skinning Nature’ project effectively remixes Mother Nature’s creations by turning tree trunks into Transformer-like structures that have corrugated tin, copper and laminated centers.

"I do not use photoshop," the artist said. "The images in the trees are photographs of other materials that I manually place into the trees. Next I photograph the montage on film and I walk away."

We’ve seen a number of ways in which Photoshop is used to remix nature. Check out more images of Bobby Neel Adams’ ‘Re-Skinning Nature’ above, and keep clicking for more similar features.
