The BBC recruited The Viral Factory to create this endearing and meaningful animal Christmas video directed towards both adults and kids. The clip shows a band of fun British animals singing through Photoshopped mouths and playing instruments. The critters’ Christmas wish to have, “Breathing places, space to roam, somewhere that I can call a home,” is sung in the lyrics. The message is moving and thought-provoking but done in a light enough way that children will get it. The fox at the end directs viewers to the BBC Learning ‘Do One Thing’ web site which offers nature-preserving tips, such as baking lard cakes for the birds and burying a bucket for a beetle. The lyrics were rewritten to the Jonah Lewie Christmas classic “Stop the Cavalry.” References: bbc, advertologFiled In: |
