Keita Watanabe's AirSketcher Robotic Fan Knows Where to Go

The AirSketcher Robotic Fan is a house fan designed to be controlled from the comfort of the couch. The fan has a special camera built into it to detect the symbols on either side of the paddle.

The "X" sends a signal to the fan to turn itself off, whereas the "O" tells the fan to stay on target. The design is simple and smart, although it does seem a little cumbersome to have to hold a paddle up every time you want to direct the fan your way. You can check out the featured video here to see the fan in action.

Remoteless appliances and electronic gadgets seem to be the next big thing in tech. I wouldn't be surprised to see a fan released sometime in the near future that imitates the design of the AirSketcher Robotic Fan. Stats for Flag-Controlled House Fans Trending: Older & Chilly
