In other unbelievable news, a man has spent $4.2 million on a tiara for his Maltese.

Named Kanune, this 15-year-old dog is the lucky recipient of the fabulous crown. Created by a Thai jeweler named Riwin Jirapolsek, the tiara was created from the jewelry collection of the dog owner's mother.

It is made of titanium and is encrusted with a stunning 250 carats of diamonds and emeralds.

Implications - The expensive tiara was definitely made for an expensive dog. According to Luxist, getting your hands on a pure-bred Maltese will cost you between $1000 and $2500 dollars! Kanune is certainly one spoiled pup! She is featured in the gallery with the beautiful tiara upon her tiny head.
