Street artist JR's latest work '28 Millimetres' is perhaps his most ambitious--and most impressive. 2,000 square meters of rooftops in Kiberia, a slum in Kenya, have been covered with giant water-resistant photos that depict the eyes and faces of the slum's women and simultaneously protect the houses from rain damage.
Naturally, there's more to '28 Millimetres' than meets the eye. JR has also covered a train that travels through Kiberia with matching photos. When the train passes through the slum, for a brief moment, the images on the train and on the rooftops align to create giant, complete faces.
JR's '28 Millimetres' can be seen from space, and according to Wooster Collective, it'll even be seen on Google Earth.
