Indeed, with the alarming rate at which ‘attempts at comedy’ are churned out, acting out stale jokes coupled with horseplay and slapstick and packaging it as “comedy” on television is pretty common. I don’t intend to sound negative here, but we must agree that with a few exceptions (Jerry Seinfeld, Russel Peters) hilarious and side-splitting comedy is actually rare.
