While there are a lot of gadgets that wow consumers at the Consumer Electronics Show each year, ultimately the best CES 2015 home innovations are the ones that people will want to start using in their houses right away.

For the hub of the home, the kitchen, CES 2015 showed off technology like the Serenti Cooki, which is described as like having a C-3PO as a chef, the LG Door-in-Door Mega-Capacity Fridge and multiple 3D printers like one from XYZPrinting, the ChefJet and the Choc Creator V2, capable of creating edible printed items in dough, candies and chocolate respectively.

In terms of the house overall, smart systems like the iDevices Switch, Peq Watchdog, Belkin’s WeMo Smart Home Platform and the Oomi cube aim to make monitoring features like air quality, temperature and security accessible from a single location.
