Sculpture Contests for Charity

Canstruction 2008

Canstruction is a unique food charity that holds sculpture contests throughout North America. The design/build competition pits architects, students and engineers against each other to create sculptures made entirely out of cans of food.

The Canstruction sculptures are exhibited to the public, and after the exhibition, all of the cans of food used in the Canstruction competition are donated to local food banks.

Canstruction is a foundation of the Society for Design Administration (SDA). There are Canstruction events about twice a month all over North America.
