Noerden’s LIZ Bottle Uses UV Sterilization to Destroy Germs

Noerden, a French brand that blends Shanghai technology with Parisian design, recently launched LIZ on Indiegogo. A smart water bottle that uses UV sterilization to destroy 99.9% of viruses and bacteria, ensuring its contents are safe to drink and odor-free.

To activate the sterilization function, all users need to do is tap the lid twice. If the bottle has water in it, the UV system will sterilize it, however if the bottle is empty, it will clean the interior instead. When the lid is tapped once, it will show the temperature range of the beverage.

Apart from its useful sterilization capabilities, LIZ is great for consumers who are looking to increase their water intake -- with the bottle activating a blinking light every two hours to remind users to drink up.

Other notable features include an anti-slip silicone grip that makes the bottle comfortable to hold, a built-in lid-opening detector that alerts the user if the seal isn’t tight, as well as a lightweight design that makes it easy to pack around.
