Lotus hasn't produced a new car in 13 years, so the Lotus Evora had its own buzz even before its debut at the 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show.
After the Lotus Evora was unveiled, however, buzz grew to a roar as attendees learned that this four-seat sports car boasts a fuel economy of over 30 miles per gallon and enough trunk space to accommodate a set of golf clubs.
Among the Lotus Evora's other creature comforts include a navigation system, Bluetooth, Alpine stereo system, and an option to nix the rear seats in favor of a luggage rack. It's thought that the Lotus Evora was produced as a direct competitor to the Porsche Cayman.
