The Mercedes-Benz design center for North America entered the Formula Zero in the LA Design Challenge. It’s racing for 2025, called Formula Zero.
The concept brings together "the thrill of Formula One, the track dynamics of the bobsled or luge, and the grace and efficiency of yacht racing," as eMercesBenz.com described it.
Formula Zero would place the order of finish of the race by the efficiency of the entries as well as speed. Each team gets the same amount of stored energy.
