Giant Styrofoam Houses
Makoto Tanijiri's 'You Make The Rule' Installation Encourages Imagination

{SummaryTitle}

The ‘You Make The Rule’ sculpture is essentially a giant Styrofoam structure shaped like a house to encourage people to interact with the material in new and unique ways. While its scale will impress audiences, the odd use of ordinary objects waiting within will bewilder them. This house boasts hollowed out shelves that holds these items.

Created by Makoto Tanijiri of Suppose Design Office, the You Make The Rule installation forces people to use their imaginations and creativity when it comes to perusing the premises. As the name of the sculpture suggests, Tanijiri hopes that his audience will make their own rules the farther they go into it.

The You Make The Rule installation is displayed at the LivingDesign Center Ozone in Japan.
