Good Cause Panties

WhoMadeYourPants is Created by International Refugees in the UK

In addition to having a fun name, Whomadeyourpants is a social business that creates fancy underwear made by female refugees in Southampton, GB. (Remember that in the UK, "pants" means underwear, and "trousers" are North Americans call pants.)

Whomadeyourpants was founded to employ marginalised women by providing them with the opportunity to create delicate underwear made from unused materials from fashion houses. All of the resulting profits are re-invested into the company, allowing Whomadeyourpants to pay its employees fair wages, while also giving them access to educational resources.

"We think that every day should be a good pants day, and that there should be a little bit of gorgeous under everyone's clothes, something just for them," the website says. "So we buy fabrics that have been sold on by big underwear companies at the end of season, stop them ending up as waste and turn them into gorgeous new pants that have a great start in life."
