The United Arrows Marionettebots combines a traditional mannequin with the movement capabilities of a robot. Used as a unique window display, these hi-tech mannequins may seem gimmicky at first, but they do more than attract customers to the store. As they move, the United Arrows Marionettebots show different perspectives of the outfits they are wearing, as well as how they fit on a body in motion.

To make the United Arrows Marionettebots move, each one is held up by 16 wires, run by motor and linked to a Kinect box. The latter allows them to mimic the movements of onlookers. A fun attraction, they have even been used as promotions. One involved determining the 'motion chemistry' between couples, which resulted in various discounts.
