Twitterific Park Benches
The TweetingSeat by Chris McNicholl Connects Online and Offline Worlds

By: Summer Luu (Rockstar) Apr 24, 11
{SummaryTitle}

Stay connected to the Twitterverse by sitting on the TweetingSeat by Chris McNicholl. Under this engaging park bench concept, a quiet nature environment is given a more interactive presence, even when you’re sitting by yourself.

The tweeting bench lets you upload images of yourself and the surrounding environment to a live Twitter feed through two cameras installed in the lumber lounger. One camera focuses on the surrounding space while another is pointed towards people sitting down. The seat clearly identifies itself as a chair for tweeps through its cutesy design: one wooden plank is painted in Twitter’s signature sky-blue color with the tweeting bird mascot perched at the end.

The TweetingSeat by Chris McNicholl was inspired by the relationship of a physical object and people on both a physical and digital level.
