Thrasher Magazine Celebrates 30 Years of Publication with Photo Exhibit

Skateboarding and the skater lifestyle have been a big influence on youth culture for the last 30 years, and Thrasher Magazine has been there every step of the way to document it all. 30 years after the inception of Thrasher Magazine, ArtNow San Francisco is helping Thrasher celebrate the milestone by showcasing an exhibit that features some of the most iconic and memorable photos from their history, entitled 'Love & Guts.'

Featuring skate legends like Tony Hawk, Gabe Morford and Kevin Thatcher, 'Love & Guts' provides fans with detailed insight into one of the first skateboarding magazines to feature skate photography, skatepark reviews, and in-depth interviews with skaters. Part of the reason Thrasher Magazine stood out is that they also included music reviews and interviews with rock bands side-by-side with their skateboarding coverage, giving the skaters and skateboard culture the rub of rock 'n' roll cool.
