Geekchitecture

Tony Alleyne's Star Trek Home Is Entirely Voyager Themed

Tony Alleyne pimped his bachelor pad Star Trek style (and I’m talking floor to ceiling Voyager makeover) when his wife left him. We’ve actually featured geekchitecture before, back when we said it was on the market for $1 million, but we finally have more pictures of the Star Trek home.

All of the furnishings in Alleyne’s Hinckley, Leicestershire Star Trek home were created by the bachelor himself, a project that took him from 1999 to 2004 to complete.

“The 500-square-foot apartment features voice-activated lighting, LED lighting, running lights, air-conditioning - but no bed,” MyModernMet explains. “A few years ago Mr Alleyne suffered from sciatica and was advised by his GP to sleep on the floor. ‘It cured the sciatica and gave me the opportunity to convert the bed area into the Transporter area,’ he says. ‘Bed space is overrated.’”

Check out pictures of the Star Trek home above, as well as other Star Trek furniture and decor in the articles below.
