'Sparkle' by Natalia Madejska was a collaboration of the Austrian-born fashion photographer and makeup artist Manuela Holzl. Madejska and Holzl teamed up in order to capture an elegant, minimalist beauty story.
While most of the model's body is matted -- almost to an unnatural point -- her lips, hands and eyes are saturated in shimmering gold sparkle flecks. In the black and white photographs, it is more difficult to see the illuminating add-ons, adding a hint of subtlety. In the two colored photographs, one is able to see the extent of the sparkles spread on the model's exterior.
