Casa MP, a stark addition to the Spanish architecture, is a quite interesting design due to its combination of homely atmosphere with a rather grey and minimalist outlook. Located in the town of Sesma, this postmodern house that looks more or less like an old factory than a 4 person family home. The design was created by Pamplona studio Alcolea+Tárrago Arquitectos as "a monolithic volume that emphasizes its archetypal geometry using concrete and stained pinewood."
The intriguing fact about the coloring of this building is that the warm colored wood completely distorts the outlook of the cold and distant grey and provides it with the the futuristic modern homey feeling was presumably intended for the house. This rough and individualistic architecture is quite oppositional to the Spanish way of living and certainly an original addition to the country's architecture.
