The Saurabh Dua 'Dark Romance' is a dainty, yet colorful editorial which captures movement and beauty through dance. The shoot was for the July 2011 issue of India's Platform Magazine, which excited Dua as it brought him back to his roots and gave him a chance to work with many of the people with whom he started out.
Celebrating Platform's editor (who gives total artistic freedom to the artists commissioned), Dua took off with his idea to "play with the moods of various dance forms with a real dancer and a model to balance the fashion element as well." Striking the perfect balance between art and fashion, the storytelling spread is alluring and captivating.
