Nestle Purina and its Australian weight loss brand Jenny Craig have created the 'Project: Pet Slim down' campaign to aid pet owners in helping their pets drop pounds. Project: Pet Slim Down is a free online program that will help not only pets lose weight but also their owners. The program provides Americans with tips on exercise and proper diet as well as tools for them to track their pet's -- and their own -- weight loss. According to Jenny Craig's VP of Research and Program Innovation Lisa Talamini, "Two thirds of adults in the US are overweight or obese, and more than half of all pets in the country are also battling the bulge."
