The Pregnancy Test Vending Machine Offers Immediate Results

In order to promote awareness to fetal health, a non-profit organization known as Healthy Brains for Children started installing pregnancy test vending machines.

As part of the organization’s 'Think Before You Drink Initiative,' the group started by putting in a machine in a local hangout, Pub 500, which is located in Minnesota. In order to prevent exposure to alcohol in fetuses, women can purchase the convenient test in public restrooms with their debit or credit card prior to drinking.

The organization hopes to install more of these pregnancy test vending machines in “women’s restrooms in bars, gas stations, malls, fitness centers, etc.” to promote alcohol awareness for those who may be pregnant. As of this moment, none of the vendors make money off the machines and all proceeds from the go directly to the non-profit group.
