The gorgeous Plant for the Planet ads are not only pieces of art, but they also a clever way to direct the world’s attention towards the importance of planting more trees. The advertising group Legas Delaney beautifully executed a green campaign by using tree leaves as canvasses.

With the tagline “Every leaf traps CO2,” Plant for the Planet wants to encourage people to donate a tree. In order to illustrate the correlation between leaves and CO2, the agency digitally carved designs into leaves, which literally show how CO2 is released into the environment; for instance, an airplane flying in the sky.

Beautifully colored and created, the Plant for the Planet ads use art to raise awareness about an important issue.
