The No. 21 Fall 2013 ready-to-wear collection is an English meets Italian aesthetic debut. The contemporary womenswear label mixed tweeds, plaids, shapely silhouettes and plenty of embroidery.

No. 21's lead designer Alessandro Dell'Acqua is attempting to appeal to a youthful female market and is alluring them with hints of grunge and girly pieces. His 2013 collection played a fine balance between the two themes. Exquisite pieces include breathtaking peplum pencil skirts with frontal embellishments, check-laden pull-overs, shirts with fringed pocket accoutrements and darling dresses with leather panels. A surprising twist in the series was the high side slits on the lengthy skirts.
