The Magnifi iPhone photoadapter case connects to optical instruments such as binoculars, microscopes or telescopes to relay tiny objects seen in the devices onto the screen of a smart phone.
The device comes in two parts: a case that attaches to the phone and a detachable mount that perfectly aligns the iPhone camera to the eyepiece of the optical instrument of choice. Created by Xianne and Isaac Penny of Arcturus Labs LLC, the attachment lets the budding scientist or avid bird watcher get a close up look at microscopic and far away objects. They can also take pictures or videos with their phone.
The case is slim enough to remain on the cell phone for daily use and is compatible with most iPhones and optical equipment.
