Model-Named Polish

The Jin Soon Choi Collection is Titled According to Fashion Icons

The Jin Soon Choi Spring 2013 collection draws its inspiration from several chic sources, among them the New York Botanical Gardens and Claude Monet's floral beds. The designer wished to create a wedge between bright shades and high fashion, the former being more subdued than standard neon colors.

Choi also turned to her model colleagues during the production of this Spring 2013 line. When searching for lacquer names, she called upon Saskia de Bruaw, Vanessa Axente, Meghan Collison and Tati Cotliar. Each of the women now have a polish that they named independently. The titles speak to their creativity as they opted for diverse labels, seen in the titles of Coral Peony, French Lilac, Fei Fei Sun, Tea Rose and Poppy Blue.
