Designers Chris Jorgensen and Andi Greisel are attempting to turn the gaming market on its head with their creation, the iOS GameDock. The iOS GameDock is essentially a docking station that converts an iDevice like an iPhone or iPad into a traditional gaming console.
Currently being funded via Kickstarter, the GameDock will make your iDevice TV-ready through an HDMI output, and you can plug in its modified versions of NES game controllers via the docking station's USB ports.
The docking station seems like a natural move for the gaming industry, what with all the retro games resurfacing for Apple's iOS. What's more, as Wired points out, the iOS GameDock also allows for simultaneous two-player games, something that is unprecedented in the iOS gaming world.
