Researchers at the Ritsumeikan University Research Center for Disaster Mitigation have managed to cram the solutions to those necessities (and then some) into a small, convenient can. The iBousai Evacuee Kit comes in four varieties, each of which addresses different needs. The medical care (miru), travel (kaeru) and shelter (yoru) supplies all focus on relatively simple comforts, while the kirei (beautification) container helps women look and feel their best even in the midst of chaos. Though some elements of the iBousai cans are certainly luxurious, it's impressive how much safety has been lodged into a space the size of a Coca-Cola can.
