Sadly, it was only until the Apple iPad was revealed that I became extremely interested in owning a tablet of my own, but for my particular needs I feel that the HP EliteBook 2740p would suit me better.

A convertible laptop, it combines the best of two worlds: the tablet look and function with the option of using a full QWERTY keyboard when necessary. Featuring an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor and plenty of memory, the HP EliteBook 2740p definitely seems worth the $1,600 price tag.
