The 'Tailly' Wearable Fake Tail Wags with a User's Heart Rate

This wearable fuzzy tail is not only a gleefully silly fashion statement, it's probably at the top of the list for adorable heart monitors.

The design comes from Shota Ishiwatari, who has placed his 'Tailly' design on Kickstarter with hopes of turning it into a commercially available consumer product. The idea behind these heart monitors is actually ingeniously simple. The tail portion of the Tailly is attached to a belt that is studded with heartbeat sensors through the waist. Depending on the wearer's heart rate, the tail will wag quickly and enthusiastically and will settle down when the heart rate drops to a more static level. Ishiwatari suggests wearing a pair with a significant other as a form of subconscious communication.

Just don't wear one on a first date, for several obvious reasons.
