Harrison Ford Gets Waxed For Deforestation

No, it's not a scene from the 40 year old virgin, it's Hollywood movie star Harrison Ford making a powerful statement about deforestation by getting his chest-hair waxed. While Britney Spears took the easy road and auctioned her clothes for the environment, Harrison invited Access Hollywood to document and promote his painful personal project to raise awareness about going green.

"In an effort to showcase the pain involved in deforestation, Harrison willingly subject himself to the painful process of stripping his chest of all its follicles," according to Access Hollywood. "Having worked with Conservation International (CI) for 15 years, it was Harrison's hope that his trip to the salon might just shock people into thinking “green.” CI operates in more than 40 countries to combat climate change, protect species, and to work with and assist local and indigenous communities."
