Desperate Relatives Dig Deeper, Sell Plots to Pay the Bills

I’ve heard of grave diggers, but never have I heard of grave sellers. Yet, ever since the recent economic crisis, more and more people have resorted to just about anything to make that extra bit of cash.

For some, that means digging deep and selling one’s final resting place. For Elsie Poncher, it entailed selling her late husband’s gravesite. While most hope to make a cool $5,000-$8,000 a plot, Elsie hopes to rack in a bit more. Why? Well, for one, she has to pay off the $1.6 million dollar mortgage on her Beverly Hills home. And two, her husband’s grave just happens to be above Marilyn Monroe’s grave. Now, whoever ends up next to Michael Jackson's burial plot...
