Opulent Fur-Obsessed Fashion

The Giambattista Valli Spring 2012 Collection is Stunning

The '60s were a huge inspiration for the Giambattista Valli Spring 2012 collection, and I don’t mean in the hippie, flower child sense. Mod cuts dominated the collection (with the exception of a few ethereal gowns that reflected the color palette), with the models strutting down the runway in short, loose-fitting cocktail dresses -- and when I say short, I mean it. Just check out the third photo.

The Giambattista Valli Spring 2012 collection is predominantly white and silver, which only adds to the fresh, crisp feel of the clothes. Zebra print and mustard hues made random appearances, but the winter-y color palette was an incredibly welcome juxtaposition to the fun, spring silhouettes.

Fur, feathers, or sequins adorned most garments (sometimes two of the three appeared together), making one thing clear: the Giambattista Valli Spring 2012 collection is made to dance in. (Well, maybe you shouldn’t dance in the ultra short dress in the third picture.)
