The Flare 'The New Wave' editorial features some very bold and electric beauty looks. From bedazzled brows to red eyeliner and plum lips, the makeup is as vivid as it can get. The photoshoot will inspire women to have fun with their cosmetics, going for more drama and intrigue than the natural doe-eyed look many have been adopting allows.

Captured by New York- and Toronto-based photographer Chris Nicholls, the Flare 'The New Wave' editorial is set to appear in the magazine's September 2012 issue. Fashion editor Fiona Green styled models Amanda N and Jenna Earle, while hair and make-up artist Greg Wendel had fun with their to-die-for features. Overall, they went with a contemporary take on 60s and 80s beauty.
