The collection uses agricultural nets to form such objects as vases, lampshades and bowls. The reason Nendo uses this practical mesh material is because it allows the designers to avoid the traditional necessity of combining structure with a separate surface material since agricultural netting is stronger than organdy and more flexible than wire mesh.

The Farming-net Collection by Nendo features houseware that looks like they're floating. Inspired by Japanese art forms such as traditional Japanese paper lantern, Nendo says, "the action of gently wrapping something and close attention to the texture of the surface endow these objects with the very particular sense of expression found only in japan, since ancient times."
