Fascinating Evolutionary Sculptures

These Sculptures Depict the Evolution of the Human Head

These incredible sculptures illustrate an approximate reproduction of the evolution of the human head and are an extremely important body of work for the anthropology field.

Their creation has been a part of extensive research and discoveries by scientists at Senckenberg Research Institute. The heads have been crafted using forensic technology as a part of the Safari zum Urmenschen exhibition, which is translated as Safari to Early Humans, at the Senckenberg Natural History Museum in Frankfurt, Germany.

Th series of 27 human heads are awe-inspiring for the fact that they all tell something different about the way their people have lived. The project was constructed using numerous models of teeth, skulls and bone structures that were discovered during years of excavation around the globe.
